In this section, you will find answers to the most common questions our guests ask us. We hope they help make your stay at Residence Trafick more enjoyable.
🛎️ On-line check-in / app Alfred
❓ Is online check-in required?
✅ Yes. According to applicable legislation, we are required to collect necessary guest information before arrival. Online check-in also speeds up and simplifies your accommodation process.
❓ Do I need to download an app?
✅ No. Online check-in can be conveniently completed without downloading an app – directly in your web browser, on both desktop and mobile devices.
❓ Where can I find the login link or PIN?
✅ No later than 7 days before arrival, you will receive an email with a link and login details. If you do not receive the email, feel free to contact us.
🚗 Parking
❓ Do I need to reserve parking in advance?
Yes. A parking spot must be reserved in advance using the Alfréd web app. You will receive a code to manage your reservation no later than 7 days before arrival.
❓ How much does parking cost?
The parking price is available at this link.
❓ How do I open the parking garage to enter?
Using the chip card – the same one used to open the apartment.
❓ How do I open the parking garage to exit?
Drive approximately 1.5 meters in front of the garage door – it will open automatically.
❓ Can I park anywhere?
Parking spaces are not assigned by number. You can park in any available spot. If using the parklift, please follow the markings and warning signs.
❓ What size vehicle can park in the garage?
Vehicles up to 5 meters in length and a maximum height of 2.1 meters can park in the garage.
❓ The garage is full – where can I park?
If the garage is full, you can park in front of the residence.
❓ Is there a fee for parking in front of the residence?
Yes.
💳 Refundable deposit
❓ How can I pay the refundable deposit?
The deposit is paid via the Alfréd app, which does not need to be downloaded – it works conveniently on both PC and mobile devices.
❓ When will my deposit be refunded?
The refundable deposit is usually returned on the day of departure. The actual release time depends on your issuing bank.
❓ My deposit is still not released – what should I do?
If your deposit is still being held, please contact your bank and provide them with the confirmation of the refund that we sent you by email. If the deposit was blocked via a payment terminal, provide the terminal receipt. Once the pre-authorization is released, we are no longer able to speed up the process.
❓ Will I receive a confirmation of the deposit refund?
Yes. After the amount is released, we will send you an email confirmation including the transaction ID.
🧼 Cleaning and bedclothes exchange
❓ Is cleaning done every day?
No. Residence Trafick operates as an aparthotel – cleaning is not performed daily, but at predetermined intervals.
❓ When are towels changed?
We change towels every 3rd occupied night, usually in the afternoon.
❓ When will my bed linen be changed?
We change bed linen every 6th occupied night.
❓ My towels haven’t been changed – what should I do?
If your towels haven’t been changed by 5:00 PM, please contact the reception and we’ll be happy to resolve it.
🍳 Breakfast
❓ How much does breakfast cost?
The current breakfast price is available at this link.
❓ What kind of breakfast selection do you offer?
The selection changes according to the season. Breakfast is served as an all-you-can-eat buffet with a wide variety of hot and cold dishes.
❓ Is breakfast included in my stay?
You can find this information in your booking confirmation.
❓ Can I purchase breakfast additionally?
Yes. Breakfast can be easily purchased via the Alfréd web app.
❓ Can you prepare my favorite dish?
Breakfast is offered exclusively as a buffet. If the selection doesn’t meet your expectations, please let the reception know – we welcome your feedback.
❓ I have dietary restrictions – can you adapt the offer?
Yes, if you inform us of your dietary restrictions at least 3 days before arrival, we can adapt the breakfast selection for two types of diets: lactose intolerance and celiac disease.
🚌 Public transport
❓ How do I get to the city center?
✅ We recommend using public transport. From the Chodovská tram stop (approx. 500 m), trams no. 11 and 14 go directly to the city center (Muzeum, Wenceslas Square). Alternatively, you can take bus 150 or 213 from the stop in front of the residence and transfer to metro line A at Želivského station. The final stop in the city center is Můstek.
❓ How do I buy a public transport ticket?
✅ The quickest way is directly on the tram using a contactless payment card. Alternatively, you can use the PID Lítačka app.
❓ How much is a ticket? Do children need one too?
✅ Current ticket prices can be found on the website www.dpp.cz. Children under 15 are eligible for discounts.
❓ Can I get to the city center by car?
✅ Yes, but parking in the city center is complicated and expensive. We therefore recommend using public transport.
🔑 Loss of card
❓ I’ve lost my card. What should I do?
✅ To enter the residence, use the PIN code from your reservation (you’ll find it in the SMS message or in the Alfréd app). Once inside, retrieve the emergency card (yellow card) from the keybox.
❓ I’ve also lost the emergency card. How do I access my room?
✅ Use your PIN code from the reservation again to enter the building. Once inside, retrieve the SOS chip from the keybox, which will grant you access to your room.
❓ I’ve lost all cards, the emergency card, and the SOS chip. How can I get into my room?
✅ We will unlock your room from 07:00. In the meantime, you can use the sofas located on each floor.
❓ Is there a fee for losing a card?
✅ Yes. The fee for a lost card or SOS chip is 500 CZK or 20 EUR.
❄️ Air-conditioning
❓ Does your accommodation have air conditioning?
Yes. Each studio or apartment is equipped with one air conditioning unit. Some rooms also feature ceiling fans.
❓ Is the air conditioning available all year round?
No. The air conditioning operates only during the summer season, typically from May to October.
❓ The air conditioner is dripping – what should I do?
The air conditioning is set to cool effectively with a maximum difference of 8–10 °C compared to the outside temperature. For example, if it’s 35 °C outside and the AC is set to 18 °C, condensation and dripping may occur. Try reducing the temperature difference – if the problem persists, please contact reception.
❓ How do I control the air conditioning?
Each unit has its own remote control. Please adjust only the temperature – we do not recommend changing other settings, as this may switch the mode or turn off the cooling function.
🕒 Check-in
❓ From what time can I check in?
Standard check-in time is from 3:00 PM.
❓ Is early check-in possible?
Please inquire at the reception about early check-in availability. Each earlier hour is charged according to the current price list in the Alfréd app. Early check-in must be confirmed by the reception and cannot be guaranteed in advance.
❓ Why isn’t the room available earlier?
Previous guests can check out until 11:00 AM. This is followed by approximately a four-hour window for cleaning and preparing the room, which is why earlier availability cannot be guaranteed.
❓ There is a special yellow card in the self-service box. Should I take it?
No. Please leave the yellow (emergency) card in the box as instructed. This card is intended only in case your standard cards are lost or damaged. There is also an SOS chip in the compartment, which is to be used only for emergency access to your studio/apartment.
🚪 Check-out
❓ I’m leaving early before the reception opens – where should I return the cards?
Please leave the key cards in the key drop box at the main entrance. Use your five-digit PIN code. Don’t forget to check out via the Alfréd app or contact the reception the day before departure.
❓ I’m leaving early – when will my deposit be refunded?
The deposit will be released as soon as the room is checked – no later than on the day of departure. The actual unblocking of the amount depends on the card-issuing bank and may take several days.
🛜 Wi-Fi
❓ How do I connect to Wi-Fi?
You can find the connection details (network name and password) in the Alfréd app or on the card located directly in your room.
❓ Is the connection free of charge?
Yes, Wi-Fi connection is free.
❓ How fast is the connection?
The connection is via fiber-optic internet. The download and upload speed is approximately 100 Mbps, which is sufficient for video calls and video streaming.
❓ Can I connect via cable?
No, we offer exclusively wireless connection.
❓ Is Wi-Fi available throughout the property?
Yes, connection is available throughout the Residence Trafick complex.
🪥 Additional services
❓ I forgot my toothbrush at home. Can I buy one?
✅ Yes. Basic hygiene products are available for purchase at the reception. The price list and product selection can be found on the information card in your room.
❓ Where can I get an extra laundry pod or dishwasher tablet?
✅ Laundry pods and dishwasher tablets can be easily purchased at the reception.
❓ Are coffee, water, and tea free in the room?
✅ Yes. Light refreshments (coffee, tea, water) are included with your stay and are free of charge.
🗑️ Trash
❓ Where can I dispose of trash?
Please leave your trash by the bins in the garages. If needed, our reception staff will gladly guide you.
❓ I am missing trash bags – how can I get them?
Please visit the reception and we will gladly provide them to you.
🔇 Night calm
❓ The neighbors next door are noisy. What should I do?
Quiet hours are in effect daily from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. If other guests are disturbing the peace, please try to politely ask them to be quiet first. If the situation continues, do not hesitate to contact the municipal police at 156.

❓ What is the emergency line for?
In case of a situation threatening property, health, or life within the apartment complex, please call 112.
❓ Is the number available 24/7?
The number is intended exclusively for emergencies. Please carefully consider the necessity of your call to the emergency line and be considerate of our staff, who are available daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
